Week 3 Substack Live Replay

We had such a lovely time connecting with so many of you during our Week 3 Substack Live session! Here is the replay and recap!

We had such a meaningful conversation during this week’s Substack Live! Whether you’re following along closely or checking in when you can, we’re so glad you’re here.

Each week builds on the last, and in Week 3, we connected the dots between everyday food choices and long-term health outcomes. It was all about empowering you with knowledge — from understanding your lab numbers to confidently building meatless meals.

Here’s what we covered:

  • Why it works: The Mediterranean diet lowers the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancers and supports brain health and longevity.

  • What makes it powerful: It’s plant-forward, rich in fiber and healthy fats (like olive oil, nuts, and seeds), and includes a variety of whole foods.

  • Know your numbers: We walked through key labs to track — including blood pressure, cholesterol, A1C, CRP, and Lipoprotein(a) — so you can advocate for your health.

  • Plant-based protein: Yes, you can get enough protein from meatless meals! We shared tips and a protein-packed Edamame Quinoa Salad demo.
