What's In Season - June
June is peak produce season! Gardens blooming and markets overflowing, there’s no better time to lean into fresh fruits and veggies. Eating seasonally not only tastes better, but also feels better.
Hello, June!
Longer days, sunshine, school’s out — and the abundance of summer produce has officially arrived! I have to admit, this is my favorite time of year when it comes to fruits and vegetables. There’s something so easy about the vibrant colors and bold, fresh flavors of the season. But more than that, I love how simple and satisfying meals become — a few fresh ingredients, and suddenly, dinner feels effortless and delicious.
June also brings special meaning as it's Alzheimer’s & Brain Health Awareness Month — the perfect opportunity to fill your plate with brain-loving fruits and vegetables. And of course, we get to celebrate the fathers and father-figures who inspire and support us, along with the longest day of the year on June 20th, the summer solstice — a perfect moment to soak in the light and savor the season.
Here’s to a joyful, flavorful start to summer! 🌿🍓🌞
