What's In Season - July
What we're bringing home from the market this month.
July is one of my favorite months for produce. Farmers markets are overflowing, gardens are producing more zucchini than we know what to do with, and it feels like every meal can benefit from a handful of fresh herbs or a bowl of seasonal fruit.
This is the season for juicy peaches, sweet berries, watermelon, tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, zucchini, and so much more. Not only are these foods packed with flavor, but they also make it easy to embrace one of the simplest principles of the Mediterranean lifestyle: eating what is fresh, local, and in season.

Whether you’re traveling this summer, spending weekends at the farmers market, or simply looking for fresh inspiration in the kitchen, July’s produce offers endless possibilities. From simple salads and grilled vegetables to fruit-filled desserts and easy summer meals, there is no shortage of ways to enjoy the season.
And with the Fourth of July right around the corner, there’s no better time to let seasonal produce take center stage. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite recipes to help you celebrate all month long.
