As summer heats up, we are continuing our conversation about how the Mediterranean diet supports brain health and this month we’re doing it with a burger.
This recipe comes from a collaboration close to my heart. I had the privilege of working with the Nourish Program at UTHealth School of Public Health — a first-of-its-kind nutrition hub right here in the Texas Medical Center that trains students, healthcare professionals, and community members across Texas and beyond.
Their mission is simple and powerful: to equip people with the real knowledge and hands-on tools to prevent nutrition-related disease. When they cook, there’s intention behind every ingredient — and this burger is a perfect example.
