Why We Eat Seasonally

First, what does eating seasonally really mean? It’s about enjoying a variety of foods that are naturally grown and harvested during their peak growing season. Think fresh citrus fruits and hearty root vegetables in the winter, or sweet strawberries and tender asparagus in the spring. Each new season brings a unique abundance of fresh produce and a variety of new flavors and tastes to enjoy.
